  NCBP’s Own Mike Freed Raising Money for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid...NCBP Council Member and Gunster business litigator Michael Freed believes in community involvement and is an advocate and pro bono attorney for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA). In a monumental effort to raise funds for JALA, Mike will run from Tallahassee to Jacksonville – 6 Marathons in 6 Days.  Starting at the Florida Supreme Courthouse in Tallahassee, Mike will “Blaze a Path to Justice” across Florida, ending with a celebration at the Duval County Courthouse. Washington State Bar Allows for Virtual Offices...The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) wasn’t the first bar to consider the ethics of lawyers practicing law from virtual law offices and it won’t be the last. But the WSBA Committee on Professional Ethics recently released an advisory opinion surveying regulatory and risk management issues for lawyers practicing in virtual offices.
